1. Please read the forum rules. They are pinned to the top of every sub-forum. There have been no small amount of violations lately. For instance: we try not to be dicks about it, but the buying and selling of tickets and camping passes is not encouraged (Judie420's the exception, because she's special). If we were interested in buying things, we'd have a sub-forum called Shakedown Street. I encourage you to try the official Lockn' Facebook page, or the (Inter)Lockn' Festival Round Up group. I've even seen people on the FB page advising folks to come here to buy and sell. Please don't.
2. Please read the official Lockn' site's info and FAQ page. Info here; FAQ here. We love to help, we love to do research, and we really love to speculate, but we are not Lockn's Customer Service arm. I've seen a lot of questions that could have easily been answered by reading these pages. Again, not trying to be a dick, but it will be more efficient for everyone involved. Besides, it's straight from the horses mouth, and for all you know, we could be full of shit. For instance: a lot of us made plans based on what we thought was the 2014 map, only to have the rug pulled out from underneath us. Mostly in a pleasant way, but still...
3. Register and become a member of the forum. Don't worry that you haven't been a member since last year; we're not that kind of community. Plenty of people have just jumped right in and become more or less power-users. You can't become a true part of the community unless you register. We have little interest in your real name (unless you want to give it), your telephone or credit card numbers. As stated before, we have nothing to sell or buy, so there's no reason to be paranoid. We provide not only Lockn' information, but info on other festivals, concerts and attractions of interest to the folks who dig what Lockn' has to offer. We're literally everywhere too (including off-shore and overseas), so we might be talking about something near you. Occasionally we also have contests. Who doesn't want to win free merch? If nothing else, you can PM me and tell me to go to hell.*
Hope this doesn't come off too grouchy. Thanks, and have a good fest!
*PS: if you become a member, you don't have to look at advertising anymore, either!
