I sent them an email a few days ago asking when the VIP/SVIP gates open (I was told wednesday at 4pm by someone) and this was their response...

Here's what I got from her on 8/1:

Thank you for reaching out. VIPs will be able to check in Wednesday night! Specific times will be released as it gets closer, but it's looking like you may be able to check in as early as 4pm on Wednesday. Please feel free to reach out if there is anything else we can assist you with.

You've probably read the other forums, but it seems on good authority that VIP early checkin has been cancelled and is now 9am on Thursday. Everyone still seems to be waiting for official word, but I would have a backup option for Wednesday night just in case.

To hear but if I have To pitch my tent to crash out Wednesday night, so be it... I responded To CID That they need to share this immediately With the VIP Folks... And to please include the specifics as their lastest response Does not even specify a time...

FROM CID: Thank you for reaching out to us regarding VIP early check in at Lockn'. Even though the festival opens on Thursday we will still be able to accommodate VIPs arriving on Wednesday. On Wednesday you will see us on your way to the East VIP Toll Booth Entrance. We will have an area available for you to set up camp for the night until entry opens on Thursday morning. You are then able to set up at your official campsite. We apologize for any inconvenience. We hope you enjoy your VIP experience at Lockn'.
