I have never been and am only able to come for the Saturday shows.....I have seen where they say bands play into the AM hours.....would this be possible for TPHB? I am bringing a 7 year old.....so I need to decide what to do. Thanks!

so would you say that Tom Petty would play until 1 am? As in was it the headliner that actually played that late?

I hope your decision includes bringing your 7 y/o and a blanket for him/her to fall asleep on, if needed. Mine (7&10) have been doing so since they were babies. Although now they, sometimes, make it to the end.

My understanding was that the 1AM quitting time was part of the condition of their permit, so I would strongly suspect it would be the same this year.

Also keep in mind that Furthur plays like 3 hour shows. Id be shocked if Petty plays as late as 1am. The second he's off stage he's probably on a bus being whisked away to new York for the next nights show.

That is very far from the case. Petty will play as long as he's allowed.
As others have stated, I think you can count on his set concluding between 12:30 and 1:00 am.

If that's the case, means nice and long sets. 10 bands on friday, 8 on saturday.
