just picked up a ticket for NiN and Soundgarden tomorrow at the Farm Bureau Live amphitheater in Va Beach. went to check the rules as to what i could bring and saw this. had a little lol. is this ridiculous or am i crazy?

Personal Lawn chairs are permitted, please ensure that the back of the seat is no longer than 9″ tall, from the ground up.

9" from the ground to the top of the chair? is that even a chair? am i only allowed to bring a small stool? like wtf... i feel like im missing some key word here somewhere

I installed a new idler pulley on my car over the weekend. I just happened to read the box it came in and it said; "Make sure engine is off before installing"

They don't say specifically, but they do say that normal "bag chairs" are fine.

At Lockn they say no chairs in VIP. I get it up front or at night if its' crowded but can't see that during the day in the back.

VIP and ADA areas are supposed to be different this year...so no chairs.

Last year we had a little issue with some folks putting chairs up on the platforms - they would leave and such...but not that bad.

I'd have to see the stages and VIP areas this year to tell if it would be good or bad. (note - I DID call them on this way back when it came out - and that's what they told me - location location location!)

didn't end up bringing my chair, didnt want to cause a fuss. im glad i didnt, because apparently ticket sales were pretty bad (possible because of a tues night?) and there were a couple staff at the entrance upgrading lawn ticket holders for free. i got a seat about 2/3 of the way back right behind the sound board. it was awesome. glad to put Soundgarden and NiN on my list of bands seen. WHOLE different looking crowd than im used to, lol, but all friendly. NiN killed it.
