Any RV'rs out there?

I'm bringing my v-cross 36 foot travel trailer. Pulled by my 2500hd Chevy 8.1 liter.
Home away from home.

I'm driving my Tiffin Allegro 36LA. Gonna party in class this year. Draped with my GD tapestry and music playing outside. I just hope I can get a semi level area. Last year brought a 32' Class C and I felt like I was 4 wheelin through the mountains lol.

30' travel trailer bought for "family camping" such a fluke we bought it right before lockn. Much better than the tent in car camping 2 last year.

Do you think with everyone being plugged up to power there will be issues when everyone is running their ac unit at 2pm in the afternoon. Do you think there will be surges in the power?

I'll be at the music at 2pm. There's one a/c unit that won't be running. ; )

Isn't solar energy popular for RVs?   (asks the innocent non-RV person)

Correction: you can only run one AC unit on a 30 amp circuit.

Like it already has been said. The weather outlook for Lockn' is for mild and cool mountain air. Won't need A/C. Running refrigerator and music are my only needs. The 30 amp will more than be enough for the 4 days. Keeps the beer and food cold. Ice will not be melting. Keeping it real with a power surge protector in case of surges.

Hey fellow RVers, this is my first post - so glad to find this forum!

the mrs. and I are towing our beloved Starcraft Antigua up from Atlanta area.  We took it to Roo in '12 after being lucky enough to get comp'ed VIP passes by their promotions agency who was courting my client/friend to be a sponsor. 

We are in GA RV, so just wondering how far away that is from the stage entrance?  Hard to tell looking at the map, though it does seem like RV Ridge is the farthest camping from the stage(?)  Is it relatively painless to travel back and forth throughout the day?

Although it is now some of the farthest camping it is in the same place as last year so I have no complaints. The view is lovely from the ridge and the walk is not that bad. Not bad until late at night when somehow the hill becomes much steeper and longer. The problem with traveling back and forth throughout the day is that it is a 15 min walk each way and there is just not a good time to do it. With the stages side by side there is no down time between sets. If you return to your camp, rv or otherwise, you will be missing music.
