What is aloud in the concert area?

Food and alcohol are a big no. Sealed water bottles are ok. And there's a great hydration station where you can refill a reusable bottle. Chairs are fine.

i tried to sneak 4 beers in on thurs and got busted. ended up walking around the vendors and chugging 4 beers in 15 minutes. made the evening more fun, lol

Last year my Nephew sneaked several six packs  in the first two days by putting beers inside folding lawn chairs inside there bags.  On day 3 the entrance security started searching the chairs.  Somehow they were alerted. 

What if I am broke and my blood sugar drops? I always have trail mix or snack bars in my purse. They don't seriously block snacks, right? I've never had that issue at festivals (12 deep)

I took some Lance in my pants....LOL

The music was a-loud....very very loud!


We don't take much in usually....I do think I want to get a 2 liter pack for water. It did get warm in that low sun!

Anyhow...check the FAQ page...seems FOOD will NOT be allowed:

Blankets and low back chairs are permitted but behind, or even with, the foh/soundboard only. You may not bring in your own coolers. Per Health Department regulations, no food is allowed to be brought into the Concert Site

with the VIP area on the infield of the race track, I reckon they will have a big fence seperating it from the "venue"? Then another
around the track?

I saw wagons in the venue last year.

So, can you bring like a Nalgene bottle and refill it?  (If its empty when you enter).  Or do you have to buy there special bottles?  Just wondering.

Yes they will have beer for sale inside the fest area. They are just saying that you can't bring your own & you don't have to sit in a special area to drink it you can carry it around.

You can buy beer (and I assume wine, d/k about liquor Virginia is funny that way) in the fest area (concert field) but you can't import
anything to drink or eat. You can bring in an empty container such as a water bottle or camel back. Free water inside (which s better
than some places!)

I don't know (if anyone knows) if there will be an odd configuration for where you can drink beer ("beer garden") due to last year's
hassles but I think we are all counting on the whole infield being open for it. better be.

You could stash your beer with a friend in VIP but I hear they have a terrible problem with evaporation over there.

hence the gate is called "chug point charlie"
