No word from Ratdog officially, but 2 venues (Meadowbrook and St Aug) at least are off the list.

Link to St. Augustine still shows Ratdog w/CRB advertised. Does appear to be gone from Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, though.

Taking a whole month to rest indefinitely makes it seem like there's REALLY something wrong. I wish him the best, but I'm super bummed, I hope they get a decent replacement, or better yet he recovers by Lockn'. :/

i hope all is well for bobby. at the same time, i am very worried that ratdog wont be at lockn, and i assume also furthur. at this point who could replace such a headliner. NY&CH 2013 all over again?

the fact that they've already canceled a january date makes me really doubt he'll be able to make an appearance at lockn. i hate to say it, but i think this fest just might be cursed better yet he recovers by Lockn'. :/

My dream replacement is definitely Crosby. I just saw him in San Francisco and he's doing great...in better shape than last time I saw him three years ago. His son James Raymond is a tremendous on the jazzy keys, and his guitarist Shane Fontaine is totally awesome. They closed the set with a 17 minute Deja Vu, plus lately he's playing stuff like Tamalpais High. CSN have nothing scheduled between Aug 28 and Sept 11 as well.

jack white has about 2 weeks open around that time, just sayin. i think those of you that have either never seen him live or dont really know his old work, would really be able to jam out to him at lockn.

Dude, I really like Jack White, but the alt-rocker niche has kinda already been filled with Wilco. Us ol' hippies wanna get our groove on. There's still Phil and ABB...if Greg survives. They'll probably do the same thing as last year and get something that's good, but not near the same level as the original headliner, cuz it's last minute. I love Jack White a lot...but we have enough younger musicians on the lineup. Someone like Bobby should only be replaced with another classic-rock legend! Of course this late in the game they'll have to get whoever they can I guess.

Jack white would be great. He's playing at Farm Aid with Neil and Willie. His set is great and would fit in here. also of course Mule or Warren Haynes Band. Umph would love to play two sets. or a superjam! Keep the good vibes rolling.
