10 Music Festival Fashions That Actually Make Sense

i cant tell if this is a joke article or not...

i used to think the same way. but then i started meeting some people that i never thought i'd chill with. ive met some folks at festivals that look like "the man" but are really just trying to relive their youth. people that really want to include this type of thing in their life, but got suckered into the whole corporate job, 2.5 kids and a dog thing. like my friend that met this guy at electric forest. he's a lawyer by day, but runs around at EF once a year dropping doses all day.
im not trying to pick on you schmosby, but sometimes festivals are a place for tight ass people to let their freak out. that's something i'm really grateful for

I may also be elWood's counterpart, another "corporate hippy" or maybe a lawyer with 2 children. I will be comfortable, but won't put on a costume--that's the point I was trying to make. The real freedom is getting to a place where you can be yourself, and not having to conform--whether at this end or the other end; the pressure and negatives are the same. That is what I am looking forward to, and I fully intend to bust loose.

We all know about posers and wannabees. What I am so excited about is all types hanging together, young, old, hip, square, getting along in a relaxed frenzy of fine music and mountain air. But I can't abide fakers.

while i wish that were true, i've seen plenty of people that are just there  to party. they could care less about the music and just spend all day at camp getting fucked up

my daughter who has been to allgood and 'roo said there was that element at each who really put a dark edge on things. Ironically referred to as "druggies" in the sense that they are there for drugs only and not music or community. To be fair, that would include the drunks with the same attitude. And since they spend the whole time wasted at the camp area they are the ones likely to be ripping stuff off.

it's to be expected at any gathering of this sort, like mosquitos and dirty portajohns. My view is keep an eye on them, don't let them mess up your day, and most important, to borrow 'roo's slogan, "don't be that guy!"

You can always tell a poser by that one thing they ALL have a never ending line of BS that's followed by "ya know what I mean"
