Oak Ridge Farm Preparations Update

Stopped by the farm today with my daughter and we drove on the property right down to the south end of the track. We were in a pickup so no one hassled us. Stuff is happening!
1. The tents are up at midfield, which is the back of the viewing area.
2. Two cell towers are up: ATT and Verizon. That should cover most people but not all.
3. A new well is being drilled at the northwest corner just beyond the outside rail.
4. I saw about 8 rental generators of various sizes, some big. I am assuming the sound and stage people will bring their own. Also about a dozen light pole generator/trailers.
5. Fencing work continues on the pit.
6. Many, many golf carts and farm type ATVs.
7. Many porta-potties.
All the work we saw was in the race track. The entrance/parking off 29 is unchanged, and we saw nothing happening on the camping hill. A little something going on in VIP RV but not much. The rent-a-stage and sound people were not there but that's no big deal at all.

If you are in VIP and coming from the South, you cannot miss the turn at the light in Lovingston. If you do it will settle the argument about being too high to drive.
