Leaving and returning

It swings between difficult and very difficult, depending on what camping option you've selected.

Everything Worf said is accurate. It really depends on what camping option you chose. Regardless, it will not be easy. If you can find an alternative, I suggest you consider it.

The FAQ doesn't provide many details, but it does say this:


May we leave Car Camping?

You can leave if you have to, but there is no re-entry into Car Camping. You'll be asked to return your car to the Day Parking lot (and purchase a Day Parking pass) if you return.



Not sure how that would work, but it sounds like a hassle.

no--there is VIP car camping where you can't move and return; I think there is some VIP tent only, not sure, which raises the same
unanswered question about whether you can come and go from the parking lots for tent only.

But it stands to reason that they don't want any car traffic throughout the grounds during the fest, and therefore they limit all in/out
to the day parking area between the venue and highway.

The reasons I'm doing VIP is better bathrooms/showers, closer to stages, and (assuming) a little calmer, quieter sleeping area.
the other features will be nice but are not primary motivators, esp. since my peeps are all GA and thus can't hang with me in VIP
viewing areas in front of the stage. It's all a matter of weighing personal preferences.
