Are the Shakedown and Triangle Stages out in the open, meaning you can walk up bringing your own refreshments or are they enclosed with a ticket check and search? Thanks.

I would think that the late night stages are outside ABC's reach.

The reason they restrict outside food/bev at the concert venue is to protect the vendors of inside food/bev. Part of that is the
condition of the inside vendor's ABC license having some control over who's drinking. And all alchohol sales in Virginia end at
a fixed time--1:00 (IIRC)except in a private club.
Thus it stands to reason that the late-night stages will be unsupervised. As in, "Bob's parents are out of town; let's all go to his
house"
