Hey Folks,

Just a reminder its going to be 77 to 82 degrees for the duration of the festival. With music taking place all day long be prepared to be standing in the sun all day! Bring your hat and sunscreen - we're going to get hot up in there! Likewise temps will drop into the mid 60s in the evening so sweatshirts, etc depending on how hot or cold you run.

I know most of you here are veterans, but just in case, be prepared.

I forgot to bring socks when we went to Rothbury 08 and I froze every night because my feet were wet and cold.

With same theory in mind, a hat can do wonders too. 50's at night when there's no sun can feel pretty cool, especially to us southerners, and a hat doesn't take up much room in a bag. Better safe and toasty than cold and sorry.

OMG I did exactly the same thing at rothbury in 08. Plus we were camped CRAZY far away (literally 45 min from campsite to stage including security checks and inevitable stop and chats) so we would go up to a show at like 3:30 when it was still really hot. Then as soon as the sun started dropping it got freezing. After the first day I brought leggings and a long sleeve capilene in my pack to the stage area. I was way under prepared for the temperatures. It's hard to remember what 60-50 degrees feels like when it was 95 degrees when I left Norfolk!

Hats gloves wool socks are an absolute must. Also several items that are not cotton. Like under armor/capilene are really useful.
