I have a shit ton of meds too, but for my heart. As long as you have documention, you should be fine.

You might better see if you can get a copy of the prescription for the pen. Don't know how they'll feel about anything with a needle. Of course, it all depends on how zealous your searcher is, too.

I have Type 1 and wear a pump, I always bring extra supplies and emergency needles in my first aid kit.  I would just say make sure you have plenty of stuff with you.  Aren't pens marked with what they are like an epi pen, maybe keep it in a ziploc bag with your name and number written on a piece of paper if it gets lost.  You have a medical conditional and they surely won't keep you from enjoying the music because of that.  I also wear a medical bracelet that has my husbands cell number on it.  Have lots of fun!!

even insulin pens have a prescription label or paperwork with your name. With your name on the paperwork/labe and ID. There won't be a problem. Unless you are carrying more than a 30 day supply of pain meds. that's a no no in VA
