What was the water situation like at the fest last year? Were there lines and how many places could you get water? Was thinking or bringing along a couple of plastic 5 gallon jugs from the water cooler. I am assuming that there are no rules against the amount of water one brings into the fest... There was an awesome hydration station just inside the venue gates for filling your bottle or Camelback after Chug Point Charlie. And there were water places in the campgrounds as well. I have fond memories of the "sink truck" in Car Camping 2. But I like to start the adventure with several 2 liter bottles of tap water, frozen, in my coolers. Helps to keep things cold, and we use it as it melts.

a couple of refill stations inside the venue. refill stations were a little sparse in the camping areas, but i seem to remember reading that they were going to improve on that this year. i always bring a water cooler that holds a few gallons

According to the map, they have improved upon it.
In addition to two refill stations inside the venue, there are two in the campgrounds. There appears to be a station near the Shakedown and Triangle Stages.

if there are only 2 in all of the campgrounds, that really doesn't seem to be much of an improvement.

We used some spigots like that last year over at the vendors and porto-stinkies, just past the big tree. But it didn't have that concrete slab attached to it..
apparently they don't want anyone running off with those.
