So to add to the already huge problem of entering the festival on Thursday, the camping passes are will call only as it appears on their website. Hoping I won't have to sit in line in will call before I can even sit in line to get in. Assuming they will take confirmation email printoffs, or at least I would hope. Not allowing printed camping passes is a huge mistake.

Just got word from a friend who's driving from Indiana. Apparently, the festival will NOT let you in to camp unless you have tickets and camping pass in hand. They said the confirmation Email will not get you into the gate. Will call window is open on Wed from 9a to 9p if that helps you at all.

I just texted my son about the Will Call hours. I also let him know about the Walmart in Madison Heights.
He's coming up from Florida too so that should give him a good recoup break.

We broke down and got a room in Lynchburg for Wed since I'm driving 8 hrs to SC on Tuesday night. I'll be ready for dinner, drinks and bed, then and early start on Thursday am.

If last year was any indication, will call won't really be much of a problem. I watched about a hundred people walk up to will call last year after they got in line.

Yup, I was one of them. The cars were inching so slowly, I didn't miss much and will call was a breeze.If last year was any indication, will call won't really be much of a problem. I watched about a hundred people walk up to will call last year after they got in line.

will call isnt open until 9 am thursday, camping opens at 6 am....what is up with that? I have my tickets in hand, but i sold my RV pass and now I dont have a camping pass....this could be a major problem....

wrong. will call is open regular hours on WEDNESDAY. i understand this may be a problem for a lot, and i dont understand why they choose to open after the gates on thurs, but at least they are sort of tryingwill call isnt open until 9 am thursday, camping opens at 6 am....what is up with that? I have my tickets in hand, but i sold my RV pass and now I dont have a camping pass....this could be a major problem....

I emailed them, they're open 6am on Thursday (as one would expect) for arrivals.
"Your camping pass will be held at Will Call. The order confirmation by itself will not allow entry into the gates.
The Main Box Office is on the corner of Diggs Mountain Road and Oak Ridge Road. Box Office Hours:
Wed 9/3 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Thu 9/4 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Fri 9/5 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sat 9/6 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sun 9/7 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Usually festivals are alot more concerned about wrist bands than camping passes (besides RV and VIP) Half the time when parking passes are required I say I'm going to buy them at the gate then noone ever asks me for money... anyways. I just read on the lockn website that will call isn't on site, like not the main festival box office thats over where the cars get searched. Do you know anything about that? It would be stupid if they did it that way, but Ive seen it done before, they do offsite will call at delfest. I just read up further, thank you so much! Last year the Will Call address was directly across the street, but by the time we got there on Thursday it had relocated across the street to the festival grounds in a trailer outside the main gate. Not sure where it is this year.

According to the map Will call is inside the traffic area, One in the GA check area and one in the day parking. THey couldnt keep it across the street because people can't cross 29 on foot. Not going to be there til Friday but will need to go to will call and then RV check in. If anyone could kindly post where Will Call is would appreciate it. Don't want to waste any unnecessary time. Emailed Monday but no response yet. Just reading it might be in a different location than the Box Office.
