Whats up Lockn crew! Klean Kanteen here and just want to confirm that we'll be onsite this year with four water refill stations providing FREE filtered water. No matter the bottle or backpack type, you can refill at our stations, as much as you want, for FREE. In regards to the number of stations, while we'd love to have more then four stations at Lockn, all of our other stations are locked up at other events across the country! We are more then thrilled to help reduce single-use waste @ Lockn this year!
Four water stations across the whole site?!? That doesn't seem like nearly enough.

So they have shower stations at each camp area and also a giant Shower World in the middle of the site. That one almost sounds like an amusement park.

I went to Roo in '12 and there were water filling stations throughout the campsites. And yes, Roo is about being environmentally friendly.

In the RV areas they are having a company come through to do dump and fills daily , for a "reasonable fee" . this should be interesting ....bringing my own cooking and drinking water

well what about putting vodka in my camelbak? i guess thats not an option if they make me dump it... i guess i need to find the wine rack bra thing and fill the boobies with booze.

I advise everyone to bring a case of water per person. Granted this isn't Deep South nor the middle of the summer but my motto has been and always will be hydrate or die. I still think there's gonna be some problems with just 4 stations across the site.

i'm bringing a big 5 gal container. less waste more water

How do you dispense from your 5 gal? Just pour it straight out? I might consider this thinking about how many water bottles I throw away every fest.

It's a container that has a spout on the inside when it's closed that reverses into a pouring spout. I think we got it in the sporting goods section at walmart or somewhere similar. It's actually 6 gal, and they make larger ones as well. It's a little heavy at first but definitely worth it

it's solid, the collapsible ones seem to fall apart at nozzle or can rip easily.
it's like this one but a slightly different design and shorter spout
