I almost always pack 4 chairs for the two of us...and would likely pack more if the space in our Subaru allowed. And if we had more. But I love having extras in case new friends drop by our site to visit. Didn't take the two extras along on a camping trip to Ithaca in July, and darned if we didn't have visitors out the wazoo who had to sit on the hard picnic table bench. Won't make that mistake again!
My problem is too many shoes. I believe I'll have 5 or 6 pair with me at Lockn' this year.

bringing lots of extra food to cook, more than I can eat; hope you all are hungry!
Also bringing a stack of T shirts so I can change several times a day and stay dry.
I always over pack. Wife always gives me a hard time about filling the car up with all those extras--until time comes and she's
glad we have them. She says she's glad she's not going so she doesn't have to give me a hard time for overpacking. I agree; I'm glad
too!
I travel solo for a couple days and will fill the
vehicle.

It was kind of fun last year to be among the very few experienced campers in the outer reaches of Car Camping 2. At the end of the fest we were handing out hot dogs and sausages like crazy to the kids who came with nothing but a sleeping bag and a prayer.

Seriously, the comments from before is that there is a tremendous amount of salvageable equipment left due to the people who fly (and
I guess who also have to jettison leftover liquids). too bad a local charity isn't set up to take the stuff to distribute or sell for
fundraising.

chairs? who needs chairs? i totally forgot to pack chairs at roo this year, lol! thankfully our neighbors brought extra and saved us. i always bring lots of extra food. i make huge breakfasts and give out to any who need. i also always bring snacks and dinners, but never eat any of it, lol. always too lazy to walk back to camp so i eat in the venue, and by the time i get back at night i'm too friggin tired to cook anything.

reminds me of this cool ass dude i ended up sharing a campsite with at wanee. on monday he cooked up about a hundred grilled cheeses to sell for $1. he knew i had a long trip back to va so he hooked me up with like 20 for free and i munched on them all the way home. was awesomeIt was kind of fun last year to be among the very few experienced campers in the outer reaches of Car Camping 2. King crabs. Ok maybe not a lot but enough to make more than a few real good omelettes. We bought way to many legs for grilling on Labor Day so I've pulled out all the meat and will be enjoying them for breakfast for a day or two.
