I had a great time during Cheese and the Gang, but I think my fave set was probably Cheeses first set. I'd never seen them before and just loved it! Tonight was also the first time I'd seen Umph, but I was surprised at how much I didn't enjoy them. Shine on You Crazy Diamond was totally awesome, but the rest of it wasn't really for me. I thought they were actually TOO intense, just perpetual anarchy. Cool for 15 minutes, but hard to progress from a constant peak. Shows with ups and downs are cool...Jerry ballad and a Weir rocker. Anyway...can't wait for more cheese tomorrow!

Billy late night rocker DS for like 30 minutes!

Diamond was the best part of those umph sets.

Cheese is always fun!!!

Cheese and the a Gang set was great...until the singer from the Gang came out

Definitely cheese first set. The Gang was fun, but I didn't know more of the later songs. It finished strong though. I was up front all day and just about blew my whole wad on the first day. Taking it a little easier on this hot day

Lettuce was the best set of the first day for me. Liked them a lot more than I thought I would.

Liked Umph a lot less than I expected, agree w/ what was said up above; actually ended up taking a nap during a bit of Umph's second set. Liked (but didn't love) the first SCI set, did not think the Gang set worked all that well.

Wood brothers were good.

Taj was really the best set of the first day, late night. Had to leave just before he stopped playing at ~1:40 because I had been up more or less continuously for 23 hours (minus the 20 minute nap during Umph).
