Everything seems much improved this year. I like the new stage position, and the lighting system is great. When I arrived at noon, there were only five cars in front of me at VIP/RV entrance...sailed right in, and they gave me a great spot at the front of the section. VIP dinner beat my expectations by a mile.

my thanks to the many many people who have worked so hard to put this festival together. It's great!

Agree, first year here for me. We were very impressed with the entire experience. Fantastic sound system. The VIP bbq was better than I ever expected it to be, and the continuous music on side by side stages is the best!

my ONLY complaint about the entire experience (other than the one I already made on the Taj Mahal thread) is that there are astronomically more cig smokers than I've ever experienced at a concert. My own bad for being over-affected i guess, just not used to it is all. Planning to watch tonight from WAY in the back of the field where the crowd is thin...thankfully the amazing light show, booming soundsystem and quadruple-screens make for a great show anywhere you are!

As a vegetarian, I was unimpressed with my dinner here. Also, It's stupid that there aren't bathrooms in the VIP mainstage area. Wakarusa is a better deal, free beer, free meals, ample restrooms in mainstage. I've had many better VIP experiences at other festivals. No beer after 9:30?? I can say that the sound quality is amazing, but I need set breaks between bands - no time to eat or piss all night last night...

excellant all around, though a camp neighbor told me that for my first fest this was too good b/c any others will have some snags rather than the few minor anoyances that just come with the package.

My hardship was not having Verizon work so I couldn't hook up with my peeps.

Then on Sunday we had an actual Smugglers Notch in the fence until staff half heartedly put it together. Smugglers actually came into use for us when we went into see Grace and they FINALLY did there job and searched bags. In that sense I say thank you GA.

They tore down the fence near the ADA bathrooms too, so they could use 'em. NOT okay. Sorry we missed you at the M&G; we had to rush in and see our boys Cabinet.
