My first festival in over 10+ years is done.. I absolutely loved every second of my time there, weather it was hanging out in camp, going to the triangle for the morning, going down to the main stage, riding my bike everywhere, going to the shakedown after the late night triangle...all the bands, my friends...I will never be able to say enough to convey how great and fun this festival was..I almost feel a sort of sadness that it is over.. I didn't see every band, but I did see most of them..the ONLY negative that I can talk about really is the Verizon cell service..that absolutely sucked, and it caused me to not communicate with someone I wanted very badly to meet there...but what can you do...Big red (Verizon) has been screwing people for years, it seems to be their motto...but that is NOT on lockn' it wasn't their fault...
I am already excited about going back next summer...I really do wish they could have that fest a little bit earlier because a lot of my friends have kids in school and can't go because its the first week of school...
So in recap, it was glorious, it was a memory that makes me smile when I think about all the laughs and good times I had there in the four days...I regret not meeting some of the boardies, but time goes by so fast while you are there..There are never enough hours in the day to get it all done....thanks for all the info, pre lockn, my camp site was just under the big tree..again, I cannot wait for next year.....
Hey Lockn, lets get, the dead there, next year...its their 50th year anniversary....what could be cooler than that???
