I have been looking for the version of New (New?) Minglewood Blues from the Bob Weir documentary pretty much since I have watched it. Based on a post on reddit I am not the only one. Does anyone know where it might have come from? Its driving me crazy. I've looked at a lot of the early stuff and haven't found it yet. It starts at 13:16 on the clip below. I'm guessing it is an early studio recording, maybe even a Warlocks recording. Also is the difference between New New Minglewood Blues, New Minglewood Blues, and Minglewood Blues a changed rhythm or just a naming error? I've always been curious. Obviously All New Minglewood Blues from Shakedown is different but the others seem the same. Its definitely has the early sound but this version has Pigpen saying "roll over one more time" and Jerry jamming after it.
