Mail order update from GDTSTOO:

GD 50th update:

The commemorative tickets are almost finished being printed, and they are dazzling!

Tickets will be sent out in early June.

We will not be accepting address changes, you will have to make your own arrangements from this date on.

We also will not be accepting any mail service upgrades.

We are diving in again and won't be up for air until mid-June and our emails will be on auto reply for the first two weeks of June.

We do not have seat locations. You will find out your seat locations when you receive your tickets.

The GD50th Fabulous Envelopes are an "Art Movement" of their own. We will be posting our museum pieces soon.

Please check dead50.net for any other show information.

Has anyone actually purchased any after show tickets? I'm trying to nail down one that I will purchase ahead of time for friday or saturday and will just see what happens the other. Sunday night will be for sleeping. Just curious what others have settled on.

I can't imagine having the energy for an after show. I'll probably just swing by my favorite old Dead Head bar in Lakeview on my way back to my friend's condo. I guess I'm just old.

But if you haven't bought tickets for an after-gig yet, you may be out of luck. Lots of things (if not all) are sold out.

Here is one that you may have not heard.

Only show in MS. Overall the show has that slightly sludgy 78 sound but the The Other One-> Stella Blue-> Not Fade Away-> Around & Around is worth the price of admission. They went NFA > Stella a good number of times. This was the first Stella > NFA and it only happened 7 more times. The transition is unbelievable. That was Stella and now it's NFA, no, it's still Stella but now it's NFA, no still Stella.....ooooohhh it's both. A pretty hot Scarlet>Fire to open the second set too.
