Wow that was a quick! Are there usually long lines? Thinking I should prob invest in one myself...There are paid showers. They are $10/shower. They work, but the water pressure is pretty low so they are only an OK option. Some people can do wipes and be just fine. A portable shower, for us, cost just a bit more than we spent on showers for the 2 of us one year, so it seemed wise to invest in it.

I've been to shower world twice. There were not lines either time. It was pretty early in the morning (well, festival early, I think we were there before 9am.

Meanwhile the free (included) VIP shower trailers didn't work well at all, both years, and especially last year.
Overall, I don't think the high-end trailer bathrooms--toilets or showers--are designed to handle the constant heavy use--especially the way VIP had a much larger crowd this year. Once a unit goes down, there is no one to fix it and no way to report the problem. It was a fail point in my view last year, in VIP car camping.

They WERE $10. Not saying they'll be more, but everything else is...
Who's "they?" WEASEL WORDS!! Other than true valuables like wallets and phones that should be locked in the car, the rest as suggested should be secured well enough to keep honest men honest, as they say.

8 months in and you guys are planning for a shower? dump a water bottle on your head. god! well, i wanted to leave one last note because i checked the lineup and it stinks and the price is high, higher than bonnaroo, and last year i thought the prices were high, and the service pretty terrible. then you unfortunately resorted to your baphomet satan pics and conspiracy talk, like you don't think you're raptors or something. highly disappointing and insulting, via the lord, and yet minuscule to everything else. like god telling me i was so ugly as a tiny toddler i deserved to get eaten by evil, and molested, and that's what the baphomet means to me. so obviously i am done here, but its pretty freaking gross and i would hope lockn would erase junk like that, but many of your posts are what i should be used to, awful, but even more insulting that god allows it. bye.

1. This person obviously ate the brown acid 50 years ago.
2. I like that this person invokes religion in the same post where they used the Lord's name in vain.
3. Lockn' is absolutely not more expensive than Bonnaroo (unless you are referring to VIP packages, which all have varying amenities and are not necessarily comparable).

No problem. I am typically very reluctant to "ban" someone. I believe in free speech and all that jazz. However, in this case, we were dealing with someone who was only here to spread negative energy and propagate misinformation.

^^^^This.Public showers are available for a price. I think it's about $10 a shot. I bring a solar shower bag and hang it from my easy up to wash my hair once in the middle of the fest. Other than that I'm a baby wipe bather and that does me just fine. Part of the fun is getting dirty, right?Hi everyone. Going to my first Lockn fest this year and it looks like it will be a doozy! I see some of you said you bring portable showers... is it a good idea to bring a portable shower? Whats the shower situation like? Thanks!

Hi everybody, I am going to lockn' green. The website really provides no info at all other than the bands and prices. Generally I'm all good with that, but the additional cost of camping has me double thinking on some things. My friends and I don't mind lugging gear, as long as its not too far from the car. Car Camping is really convenient, but not worth it to me if its an extra mile away from the concert grounds. So if some lockn' veterans can throw me some knowledge...what would you do? How close is the tent only camping from the concert ground compared to the car camping?

We can only speak to what has happened in the past...and that it's been different all of the last three years. Typically tent camping is a bit closer than car camping. But only in 2013 would I have used the distance "a mile" in that distinction. Last year found car camping to be a reasonable walk from the stages...maybe 15 minutes.
