The Lockn' Festival presents an evening with Leon Russell on Saturday, July 11th at the new Locknwood stage on Lockn' Farm in Arrington, Va.

This exclusive FREE show is only open to Lockn' 2015 ticket holders. You must have bought or buy a Lockn' 2015 ticket by show time to attend.

Opening the show will be Charlottesville favorites and 2014 Rockn' to Lockn' winners Erin & The Wildfire.

Did I mention I'm Greek?

dont know leon but i think it's just INSANELY cool that they are putting on free concerts. like, that just blows my mind. TTB was insane enough. man, these guys continue to impress. i've never heard of anyone doing something like this before, but perhaps i'm just not in the know

Says the Lockinwood stage is on the Lockn farm. So, not the Blue Ridge Bowl (as that is not forested) and I don't think it is Triangle, as I don't believe that is on the Lockn farm. They are putting stages on the land they control so that they can be used at more than the one festival, I think.

At the TTB Concert they had a cement pad poured for the sound booth, but they were using a temporary stage. Maybe they will build a nice permanent small stage like this photo of the second stage at Floyd. [photo is Floyd not Lockn]

Looks good. I drove by there (Oak Ridge Farm) in May but didn't see this from the road. Musta been because it was in a whole 'nuther county.

A friend of mine was one of the early promoters of Bonnaroo, and after a couple of successful years, they started acquiring land or long-term rights, installing some facilities, etc. I'd expect the same here. Unlike Burning Man where they try to leave no trace, but that's part of its vibe.

We didn't even attempt to go into the "jail" and those lights were extremely obnoxious. This should be much better.
