Really enjoyed the Dead and Company show on Saturday. John Mayer was good both playing and singing and was obviously having a great time playing this music. Good setlist, good transitions. Can't wait for DC Friday/

That's set I, right? I better not have paid $65 for 80 minutes worth of music. 
Gonna have to wait for the recordings to drop. Sue had to go out of town on business, and I was on trick or treat duty. Wanna hear it from the beginning.
Thought about ordering the Phil webcasts too, but I really think I don't want to give him my money right now.

Just curious if anyone has heard anything about continuing with this project? Is Dead & Co gonna be a continuous band or are they just planning on doing this tour calling it quits? I have been flaked on for every show I couldve gone to on this tour so I'm not gonna get to see them this time around and its killing me so does anyone know about the future?

I do not know anything, so write this off as totally uninformed speculation if you want, but I would be really surprised if Dead and Company continues past this tour. John Mayer is having a good time playing this music, but I think it is definitely a side project for him and he will return to his main career.
As well, and this really hurts me to write this, I think this is not going to be commercially viable on this scale past this tour. There were a lot of empty seats in MSG on Saturday and there are a lot of tickets for sale on the secondary market for all their shows. A unique confluence of events contributed to them selling the number of tickets they did. That doesn't mean that they couldn't continue playing, but it would mean retreating to the smaller sorts of venues where Further was playing...
There could be some collaboration with Billy, Mickey, and Bobby, but maybe not in this form.

Sorry you won't get to see them Worf. They are really good. Really enjoyed them Friday.
I am hypercritical, but I will say I am now glad we did not shell out for the Greensboro show as well. Verizon center was the 5th show of the tour, and almost every song they played was a repeat. I think, without combing through the setlists, they may have played 2 songs they hadn't played already. It is clear to me that they do not have access to a huge amount of the songbook. So, well it was good, I just kind of feel like I've seen it, twice was enough. Of course I'd have fun if we went to more, but with limited time and money I don't know if that is the best use of them. We are staying close to home the rest of the year.
Still really like Mayer's bluesy guitar style. I kind of kept hoping he would put a slide on, he really seems like he would be good with a slide (disclaimer, I don't know anything about playing guitar or slide).
