Killer show last night! These guys just keep getting tighter and tighter. Saw lots of old friends and met lots of new friends. Saw mcjeff but he was busy. Catch you next time.

Solid show. I really enjoyed seeing Billy & Mickey and Oteil playing together. Mayers guitar was entirely suitable to the occasion and of course Chimenti was on point as always. The slowed down blues version of Ship Of Fools was a nice version. Lots of good to great music played. No, Mayer's guitar is not my favorite that I have ever heard play GD music but like I said it was entirely suitable and anyone that didn't like the show because of him needs to reevaluate some things. Bob's singing was probably, no not probably definitely, the weak link but we've known that for a while now.
Again it boils down to a pretty simple recipe. The songs that I love most in the world, played well while hanging out with the people I love most in the world. I really don't need to over analyze that.

Hi y'all. We are hitting the show here in Nashville tomorrow night (Wed) and we are pretty pumped.
Big question: The tickets say 7:00pm. Do they actually come on stage at 7:00pm or is there a 30 - 45 minute wait?

I've been meaning to ask this to folks who have been to D&C shows besides DC. Has there been set break music? There was no set break music in DC. This was very undude. Combination of no music, bright lights and my state of mind made that hour quite uncomfortable.

Did you have too much to fast? No, I get that, the vibes good but everything's so stark

Are you certain that there was no setbreak music? I've been meaning to ask this to folks who have been to D&C shows besides DC. Has there been set break music? There was no set break music in DC. This was very undude. Combination of no music, bright lights and my state of mind made that hour quite uncomfortable. 
That is when you go out into the hall with the other freaks.

Quite certain there were no tunes during set break. Guess I am used to seeing bands playing in theaters when going to shows that are indoors not areas. Something about the huge cavernous building with bright lights and no tunes just didn't sit well. I couldn't handle the freaks in the hall either. I was on the floor which may have magnified the situation.

Was no setbreak music in NYC. Honestly the hour long set break is my biggest complaint. It is too long. It was slightly more tolerable in Chicago when there was music and we were outside but it was too long there and the indoors is worse. I was at the Columbus Ohio show last Friday night, the break was about 35 minutes, it threw us me off cause I was expecting longer. My wife has a real bad back and we have this elaborate plan for dealing with it, messed up that elaborate plan, too.

Friday night in St. Louis, dead and company played a great show, my wife, as committed a deadhead as any since the early 70s, said it was the best Sugaree she's ever heard!
The break was 41 minutes long, there WAS music during the break but quiet and low key.
The encore was as good as you could hope for, acoustic Ripple.
This tour ends with the new year. There are rumors of a summer tour with this band, if they tour, we will try real hard to catch at least two shows.

With Dead & Company's major fall tour in the books, we couldn't help but look back through the band's tremendous performances.
