Travel/Arrival Notifications

Yeah...stuck on 29 about 2 miles from VIP entrance. People telling me its still going to be hours before we even get to camp site. Sure hope not.

I think the amount of people arriving this morning due to the full day delay is probably killing any plan they had set in place. no matter how you do it you can't fit 25k+ people into 20 lines without delays. These people are exhausted for working so hard to get things back on track. Last year was so great for arrivals because they had time to plan and staggered arrivals.

I'm gonna sit on my butt at home until things die down a little. My 8 month old hates the car seat and I'm not torturing him. Thankfully the husband is down to set things up and heading there now.

Just got into the GA car camping search line after waiting as patiently as possible in stop-and-go traffic (emphasis on stop) since 6:15 this morning.

I understand mother nature threw a pretty damned big monkey wrench into the original plans, but this is very disappointing - especially because wrong signage had alot to do with extended wait times. It seems like the traffic signage was still from "Plan A" when they had in fact shifted to an improvised "Plan B".

All that said, I'm ready for the music to wash all that bullshit away.

I've been parked in non-powered RV on the ridge like last year since 730am. The line is moving slowly, but moving. A guy in line told me state police were giving conflicting instructions. Good luck to you all....you'll be there soon! The line is moving!

3:45 to get to the entrance - then 30 minutes to get to the car camping area. Oy vey.
