Watched The Last Waltz on PBS last night. Primed for Xmas Jam!

Understand completely. But I just couldn't pass up seeing Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison et al doing their super jam.

Oh heck yes, I did! My stepdad was insanely into Floyd- I use Floyd to regulate my mood. Ummagumma is my gospel. Even though he (step-dad) was a piece of shit, he did learn me some good musics.

Saw these guys a few years ago...AnDa Union. Had no real clue what to expect as it was part of ticket package we bought. We were in our local theater that hosts nicer sit-down shows. With a capacity of 1500ish, there were maybe 50 of us in the theater. Didn't matter as they were awesome, doing things with their throats and instruments that were totally mind blowing. To watch and the empty auditorium made some of the sounds even more interesting, shamanistic, and captivating.

I just found the Sound City episodes on HBO Now last night and watched the first one on Chicago. Will be working through the remainder.

I've been hearing Green Sky Bluegrass on the FM radio a lot lately--"past my prime" I think is the name. I don't know the band well but I know there are a lot of fans here, and I've enjoyed what I've seen on MTV Live. Would gladly welcome them to Lockn!
