2016 General Admission RV Camping

GA RV pass purchased.

And I got my GA car camping.  Not that I think they'll sell out.  Just think a future price hike on camping is not off the table.

Looks like ADA RV is sold out.

FYI LOCKN Admin says to just buy regular RV then you can make arrangements afterwards if you need ADA. There is a glitch in the system.

So with the Pop-Up can I get into the RV camping area or do they allow the Pop-up in GA tent camping areas also?

Hello all my Lockn friends and family. I am hoping someone out there may be able to give me some good advice and point me in the direction of success. After all the rain and mud from last year I have decided to rent an RV for this years Lockn. This will be both my first time renting a RV and first time taking one to Lockn. I was hoping someone more familiar would help give me some of the pro's, con's, do's, dont's and pitfalls of RV camping at Lockn. I am traveling from Jacksonville, FL and plan on arriving between 11:00pm Wednesday and 4:00am Thursday. What are my options for waiting to get into the gate at this time? I was thinking about just pulling off to the side of the road and waiting tell that gates are open, is that doable? How thoroughly do they search RV, luggage and baggage? I know this years map maybe different than last years, but what was the best options for RV set up location? How easy is it to hitch a ride with some one into town if you need to get supplies? Do you think having a RV would cause more or less scrutiny from the fuzz? Is there anything you would recommend? Are there any pitfalls I need to try and avoid?

Last year several nearby breweries like Devils backbone allowed camping on their grounds.last year was a mess for Rv camping too.we were on Rv ridge and though some people got electric the 2 nd day you needed 200 ft of cord.i know they have some closer in spots but we were there at8 in the morning,and after. 5 hr wait we didn't get a closer spot.it was nice and quit and spread out on the plus side.nice to have a quiet bed at night.this year ac will be nice as well.
