Please use this thread to discuss arrival conditions - the length of the line, when the gates actually open, traffic, which camping area is being filled first, etc.

In an effort to avoid clutter, we ask that you please keep posts in this thread on topic and informative. Posts such as, "I'm on my way, I sure hope the line isn't long when I get there!" should be reserved for other threads. We are all anxious about arriving, waiting in line, and getting set-up; anyone who arrives early and has information to share will be truly appreciated. Thanks!

What we have learned so far:
*No bathrooms
*Campsite one filled first
*No entrance until 9am
*I only saw one cop on the road the whole way here, but I'm sure that will dramatically increase as the day grows older.
*Don't miss the entrance, it's not hard. There are no big lit signs, just one small road sign.

Quick couple things. Tons of cops everywhere. Please drive safe! They are lining up all the early birds in a grass lot which I believe leads into the security checkpoints. It's brisk and foggy and there a lot of people here already.

The surrounding area has a lot of gas stations and there is a grocery store not too far.

So, some random people just walled by and were saying that one of the volunteers said they were going to open up at 730, and another person said 6. I kind of doubt they'll be opening in ten minutes, but who knows. And here I was gonna take a quick nap. Guess it's just more staring at the mounted cops, lol

I'm awful at estimating, but maybe 3-400 cars. There were some orange signs that said five miles til, three miles til, then at the u turn. Nobody directing, not big signs. This all may change as the traffic increased. I bet they'll have some cops out there directing if the traffic starts backing up.
