By the end of the fest I ended up drinking mostly the Bold Rock India Pressed Apple. It was tasty, cold, wet, refreshing and not too heavy. I almost feel dirty saying that. It was the most “Hard Cider” I have drank by a factor of infinity. For an alcohol boost I would wander back and get a Black Heath Meadery 12% Passiflora Passion Fruit. Not too many of them tho.
We did as a group try a bunch of the locals and found most to be pretty darn ok. Wild Wolf Blonde Hunny, Old Bust Head Vixen & Graffiti House were all new. I’d had whatever the other Wild Wolf was before before but never anything from Old Bust Head. Likewise I’d had the Troegs Sunshine Pils and whatever the other one were. The pils went down agreeably. Blue Mountain Full Nelson and Classic Lager were ones I’d had before as well. I alsso tried Both of the Potters Craft Ciders, the Hop Cider and the delicious Grapefruit Hibiscus Cider. If the GHC would have been available closer that is what I would have been quaffing.
