1. Emergency link. For ease of pinpointing your location since many people have no idea where they are at. 911 does the same thing I guess but this may make it a little easier?
2. Sewer pump out link that also pin points your location for the guy. May not even need to be there if they take a card.
3. Ice orders.

It's not good to do that to your circulation all summer long, but I'd wager she had more to fear from dehydration, heat exhaustion etc than heart failure or stroke.
Just, like, my opinion, man. ☺️

Yep. Her bp was good. She just went on the meds about a year ago. Got the cankles going and was getting nervous. The docs at first aid were real good. Gave her an rx that we got filled at the rite aid in lovingston. Thought they would give us a hard time about driving off the farm so dr wrote a note with his cell # for any security that gave us a hard time trying to drive in/out. Nobody asked either way. Told security on way in that we had the note. He just asked to look in car. Oops, did i buy that case while my wife was filling her rx. My bad sir. Didnt give two shits.

We have a Lockn Forum app. It's called Tapatalk.
We should call my idea FestyGrub, or something like that.

Yea Tapatalk is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about an app tailored to forum members for use at the festival. Gps Location of the meet and greet, locations of members if they turn that on, emergency services, ice locations, and yes FestyGrub can be a component of this one if you like. Live chat/ text function built in could be useful as well. Setlists updated as they happen would be cool too.

I'm curious as to where you found the main first aid tent. The map indicated that it should be near ADA camping by sober lockn. We downloaded the app with the 'you are here feature' and it indicated the same location. First, we tried to get a ride, but the first aid tent was not an approved destination and they wouldn't take us. I was not happy about that but we struck out on foot to where the map said it should be. We arrived at the appointed location, but no first aid tent. Our 'you are here feature' showed we were at the tent. We spoke to a staff member and she directed us elsewhere. We arrived there, no first aid tent. We spoke to another staff member, he directed us back to where the map said it should be. We eventually interacted with six different staff members. Staff was completely, like, what? Should be right here. Lots of radio traffic later, we gave up.
The original problem was not a real emergency. I simply broke a tooth and wanted to get some Anbesol. Hours walking towards, looking for, and walking back to camp nearly resulted in an emergency for my wife due to the heat. We had to take a break under some trees by shakedown while I went to find some water.
The original trek was Thur. morning. We struck out again Fri. morning. Knowing it wasn't near ADA we headed the other direction (and missed the M&G). Never found it. Stopped by a satellite set up to inquire. They directed us to the main first aid tent. Go figure. I just switched to bourbon.

Not one single staff member I encountered at two lockns had any means to communicate with those who could solve a problem Few could communicate at all or knew who to call. None had consistent information. Even if they wanted to, there was no way to go over their heads and up the chain. The poor lady in the golf cart refilling the toilet paper got the brunt of the bathroom failure in VIP and I honestly believe that she was helpless.
Here's what I wonder if---there is a concept in liability law that once you provide a service, you are responsible for its failure due to negligence. If they try, for example, to provide a means for medical attention, and it doesn't work and someone dies, they get the crap sued out of them. But if they provide nothing--like the Appalachian Trail--they are bullet-proof. That's the only way I can explain the whole vibe there of once in the gates, you are on your own.
For a number of reasons in my real life I am aware of and sensitive to risk, danger and liability. I still take huge risks and embrace danger. I assume risk and am prepared to take care of myself, or die, whatever. But the people around me are not clued in.
I am astounded at the way Lockn runs in that regard, but I don't know other fests to compare.

Agree. We both have 'pre-existing conditions'. My wife's quite serious. It's why we camp where we do. This is the one thing that could keep us away from future Lockns. We were just laughing about this today. But, at the time it really pissed me off.
