LOCKN' 2017 Dates Announced / 'Lumni Tickets On Sale Friday!

Good idea.  Cville is a pretty cool town in general and there's usually some Lockn pre-show type stuff going on there Wednesday night if you are so inclined.

I have considered upgrading to VIP as well, but I had quite a few Easter Bunnies come through my camp offering very pretty eggs. Was the consolation prize to missing Bands due to the scorching Sun. I would imagine that there would be fewer Waskly Wabbit's in the VIP sections, unless they burrow a tunnel and don't take a wrong turn at Albuquerque 

If I just put it on the credit card, it's basically free, right?

So I am going to purchase 2 GA tickets at noon.... but my oldest son will be going away to college next year and I am hopefull that I won't be moving him that weekend. I figure that it will be easy to sell the tickets later if I need to at early bird pricing. Sure hope I don't have to.

Our friends are also in that boat. Last year it was the weekend of Lockn'n at Univ of Delaware. You should be able to look at last years calendar and see the weekend move in was. Most likely it will be the same next year. He started doing some research and apparently you can pay extra to move in early.

I’m making one of my famous “pros and cons” charts right now, comparing the 4 options we would be considering (GA Car camping, VIP car camping, hotel and RV rental).

I talked to my husband last night, and he’s more in the “wait and see the lineup” camp, whereas I’m leaning towards “register early and pay the lowest prices.” I have faith it will be a good lineup, and once announcements are made, I’m definitely down with listening to some of the groups I’m not familiar with so I’ll be psyched to see them once the festival comes around, like I did this year with TTB, and Twiddle (I still hope Twiddle comes back for a nighttime slot, because I just was not in the jamming mood at 1PM).

Of course the weather is still a huge consideration (can we survive that again?) regardless of which accommodation option we choose.

SO it's 2.5 hours from the sale and I haven't received an email link for my 'Lumni tickets like in previous years..... Have they already sent out that email and I just got boned for it this year, or are they doing something different??

Other than the email I received 2 days ago, I have not yet received any other emails. The one I got the other day said that we would receive a code Friday morning. Anyone else?
