It doesn't. This fest is now officially too rich for my blood. $149 for a car camping pass? This year was $129. The year before was $89. Yeah, not really sure how their pricing model works.
And the dates still suck.

Okay, we now have a confirm number. TOO's advice about starting a new browser a very good call. Timed out first time. Crossed the finish line with 3 seconds to spare the second time.
I agree with Fishin', the fees are crazy. The $7 split fee did pluck a nerve. But, I did a quick break-even calc with the interest earned on my savings account and I'm within $.02. So, it appears they understand our pain point.
Interestingly, it looks like CID is out and Front Gate is in. So, the value proposition is again a wild card.

Cannot purchase 'Lumni tickets... Already on a payment plan for UM NYE, also currently acquiring tickets for Oct. 31st Phish in Vegas ($$$)... Just booked flights and put down deposit for hotel... after party tickets at the Brooklyn Bowl for Twiddle bought yesterday... Oof da... Too many things emptying my wallet at the mo'...
Trying to get a bunch of people to commit so we can share an RV next year and keep costs down. But trying to get hippies to commit is like trying to herd cats...

I had luckily pre-purchased a bunch of tickets for Sept., Oct, Nov. so I had a clean credit card and put them on there...it is pretty manageable although I'd like to have not done that.
I think our whole crew is down for next year and bought tickets already. Plus we have had at least one addition. We are doing well with commitment and organization for a bunch of long-hairs.

Sadly I am the only one out of a crew of about 14 that has bought their tickets for next year. Most of the others are "waiting for the lineup". What's going to happen is they are going to wait for the lineup and when and if the lineup meets their expectations the tickets will have gone up by about $500. Then they will say shit that's too much I'm not paying that and will end up not going.
