Hey everyone. This is Lyndsey, Wayne's daughter. Because of how much you have all meant to my father, I felt like I needed to let you all know my dad passed away this morning at 12:43am. He fought hard against the cancer. For a while we thought we were winning after using cannabis oil and his lungs going into remission. Unfortunately, there was just too much. It spread to his brain, bones, and likely other places they didn't bother to test. He went in the way I know he would have wanted, quietly and with his wife of 25 years by his side. He told me that some of you aren't just friends, but brothers and sisters. I want to thank you for the friendships you gave him in his life and thank you for looking out for him at his final Lockn'. Nothing brings me more peace than knowing he got to go to this last Lockn' and he got to spend time with all of you. He talks about Lockn' all year and it was such a big part of who he was. You were all such a big part of who my dad was. So please, next year at the festival, remember my dad and know he is there with all of you in spirit. Peace, friends.
