My wife and I do this, too.  EXCELLENT!

Wife and I made a Pekin Duck last night drowned in butter. Pretty good. Not a ton of meat.

I know we are supposed to social distance, but I usually get togehter with two other buddies on a regular basis and we decided to still meet. No handshakes or hugs and we kept our distance. Even had separate smoking devices. I brought this.

Does mixing a drink count? I dunno nuthin about this chloroquine, but some good ol' quinine always helps keep away the Malar.

Got my Greek on and made this Sunday. And I'm 100% Greek (mom, dad, and older sister born there).

Me too. For the entertainment value if nothing else...

Got too caught up in the music and that freak above to say: Holy fucking shit!

What is that, spanakopita? OMG, the flake on that crust...

Yes it's spanakopita. I realized I had a bunch of frozen spinach in the freezer along with the phyllo. What sealed the deal was I had fresh dill, parsely, and green onions too. 

Before the virtual happy hour, Sue and I got some really dreadful Lenten fish fry takeout from the pub. Really worried about the hospitality sector, particularly non-chain independents. Been less than two weeks and they're already clearly cutting corners.

But anyway, after the party wound down I was lookin for a little sumpin. I went rooting (rhymes with footing) through the fridge and was pleased to come up with a corner of a bag of shredded reduced fat mozz, half an open jar of pizza sauce, and some turkey pepperoni. The counter top yielded a few whole-grain mini pitas, and we were off to the races. I had to round out the cheese with some parm and deli sliced provolone, but they were so good we agreed this is how we're doing pizza from now on. Got the toaster-oven rip roarin hot @ 450 while I was throwing 'em together, and then toasted them on the setting right in the middle.


Maybe it's just cuz I was as baked as they were, but wow.

Holy. Fucking. Shit. I'm gonna need a moment alone.

By the way, I'm a member of a Facebook cooking group where there's an ingredient of the fortnight. At the end of the two weeks, we vote and the winner picks the new ingredient/theme. The theme for the current fortnight that just started yesterday is: quarantine cooking - using up ingredients on hand about to go bad. I mentioned Lockn on an entrry and the person that picked this theme told me at a recent show she got street teamed tickets.
