Not justifying, but at 5 miles you just hear a constant rumble, which can be more annoying than music you can hear relatively clearly. Especially for people who sleep with windows open, go to bed and get up early, who live in the country because it's quiet, and aren't flexible enough to let it go for three nights out of the year. But they and those closer have a more legitimate complaint if late shows became common as the facility is used more. Thus the exception process, to be used wisely. As Southern notes, it's smart to get the exception now for Sunday/Monday even if it's not used. Let's hope the promoters make everyone happy with the late night noise so we can do it again. What does "2am and 3am" mean? Different times for different nights? Different times for different stages?Lockn' just posted on Facebook that they were approved for 2am and 3am. No worries folks.

So the request was 2am/3am, but the recommendations on that chart are 12, 1, 1, and 11.

Lockn didn't post those details but one of the concessions offered by Lockn was Later times approved, what about noise levels?The 2am and 3am requests were approved last night.

Hmmm...
I don't know the answer, but I thought usually special use permits like this had to be approved on an annual basis?
