Best beers for no-glass festival...?

We drink them with Vodka OJ and Sparkling. Not normally my style (I will be drinking IPA's or Bourbon the rest of the day) but I must admit they make for a nice start to the day.

Oh I don't drink all day. Couple in the morning to get me over the night before then mostly smoke until the evening.

My fellow campers and I all have an infusion competition when we attend a fetival. We each make a liquor infusion with fruit. I made 2 this year. One with Malibu Coconut rum infused with pineapple and one with Stoli Raz infused with pineapple, kiwi, strawberries and mango. Let them sit for 2 weeks before in the fridge and boom...you have a tasty hooch that you can sip on ice. I also bring a veriety of reebs to include Deviant Dales in a can which I like to start out the night with.

A few near Richmond, but honestly not a big store around VA.

Funny Dire Wolf, I was just doing a bit of research for where to load up on supplies for next week and my research led me to zero in on the 'The Beer Run' in Charlottesville, I was gonna ask in here if that was a good choice, and you preemptively answered my question!!   It looks like they have a fairly extensive collection, and I assume I'll be able to find some decent choices in cans, ya?

My plan is complete:  Direct flight Denver > Reagan Intl > stay @ folks place Weds night in Alexandria > swipe the old mans SUV for the wknd > Walmart pit stop in Fredericksburg(sucks I know but time allows for nothing else) > The Beer Run & ABC stores in Charlottesville > proceed directly to Lockn.    I hope to be in some stage of entry process by Noon Thursday. 

Awright I gotta ask this..am I the only weirdo here that HATES beer? (Ducks as smosey wales starts chuckin cans (NOT glass) at me.)

no my sister has the same problem. Drinks brown liquor on the beach in the daytime. Bleh.

Beer is the foundation of civilization. We were perfectly happy being hunter-gatherers until we accidentally discovered fermentation. We only developed agriculture to ensure a steady supply of barley.

Try conditioning in a stainless steel growler with a locking lid. I've never actually tried it, but I've had great success with a glass one despite lots of nay-saying.

Right in one! You get me, man.
