I seriously doubt they are going to be cutting all those trees, filling in a pond, draining the wetlands and diverting the creek which is what they would have to do to utilize that area. If they did, then yes, it would be equivalently sized. But if they do then i call bullshit on their "What a splendorific piece of beautiful land" rap. Just some bulldozed ruined habitat. Might as well have it where they clear cut for a new subdivision.

I agree, it's not likely they will do a lot of landscape changes, short of maybe some pathways, unless the change makes sense for the long run and will, once planted, fit in with the "splendorific land." Not likely to do anything with the water features due to permitting and costs.
After all, every field there was cleared, every road cut, and all the trees are new growth (less than 60 years old). Much of the border areas are scrub. So since none of it is natural, and if done right, it can be improved.

Yea, nothing is happening to that creek (it's called "Bob's Creek"). There are bridges over at least 3 roadways nearby to allow it through. Redirecting it would be a MAJOR undertaking.
That said, if all that area IS inside the fence (it actually makes sense to do that, in many ways), it will make for a LOT more shade than they had before. No weird tent structures required.

Well, regarding trees...Dave Frey said they were not sure if they would take some down, or trim them up or what.

Where is 'Lumni camping?
Edit: Frey says in his interview(9:38) with a hand puppet(very reassuring) that he needs to get that on the map. He unfortunately forgot all about it. Good thing the puppet reminded him they sold tickets using 'Lumni camping "way back".

Alumni is a misnomer. It would be better if they just called it early bird. Had to buy an earlybird ticket and camping at the same time.

the show field looks small, and I thought BRB had a permanent stage--but nothing is there.
If show field slopes to the right, with the area being cleared at the bottom, I bet they put the stage there and the cleared area is for "backstage". they could have the remaining trees there at the side of the stage.
