We're proud to host Lockn’ Festival at our property at Infinity Downs here in Nelson County, Virginia. Lockn’ Festival and our other events bring a positive economic impact to the area, supporting dozens of businesses and individuals in Nelson County and Central Virginia part time and year round.

The safety of Lockn’s patrons is our top priority. In 2017, our safety plan and requirements changed significantly because we consolidated the primary performance areas into one Event Area, rather than using the Oak Ridge racetrack as a separate show field. Several medical service providers, including both Wintergreen and UVA, were invited to submit proposals for this year’s event. At the end of the bid process, UVA was selected based upon its responsiveness to the needs of the event.

While we appreciate the past four successful years with Wintergreen Rescue Squad and have nothing but good will towards the Wintergreen team, we feel comfortable that have engaged EMS service providers that will enable us to continue to fulfill Nelson County and Lockn’s mutual mission to maintain a safe environment for our patrons, staff and artists. Lockn’ has also re-engaged Nelson County Sheriff Department and Lovingston Fire Department for their services. We look forward to a safe and successful festival and hope to continue to support Nelson County and Central Virginia for years to come.

Capped at 15,000 and tickets are still on sale? Somebody is getting fired.

Hopefully one day we can get personal responses from Dave and crew on this board. Until then I guess we just keep grinding day in and day out...

You alluded to this, jokingly I think, but I do believe that the Phish Effect had something to do with lower attendance this year. Some people, including friends of mine, are still not over that. Not sure why but they are butt hurt over it. Between the Phishes, changing the dates and the heat last year I think some people (a lot of people) have decided to put Lockn on a time out. We see it with our customers from time to time. If we don't deliver what the customer thinks they bought we could be on time out for years. It is kind of like a rubber band and I think it may take several years for Lockn to rebound. Looks like they are in it for the long haul so with favorable weather this year and nothing drastic changing things will likely get back on track attendance-wise. 

Lineup, lineup, lineup.  Phish brought a lot of people last year. Along w/ Ween and MMJ.

I like the lineup this year, but it does have a "been there, done that" feeling to it.
