I can't help but see this as a drastically smaller footprint. The oak ridge car camping posted earlier is now gone. Previous years had the current car camping, oak ridge and the area on the right as you came in. Really hoping that ticket sales are just down because i don't want them trying to cram absurd amounts of people into one lot. Keeping positive, but I don't like the looks of that. The current car camping lot is in a hollow and so it will not be getting much breeze...

If I remember correctly I think Dave said ada camping or at least ada rv camping was between single day camping and tent camping. It's prolly that one spot that has a handicapped symbol on it next to single day camping. It could also be that little green square between SVIP and tent camping that has nothing in it.

In the SVIP Lounge. If you are VIP you might be able to stand outside and hear some of it. If not you likely won't be able to get close enough.

Looks like very few beer stands in the music venue, which would be extremely disappointing. One of the things I have really liked about Lockn in the past has been the very short, almost non-existent beer lines. I hope this graphic is misleading in that regard.

I still think it's odd that the main entrance is next to the stage, not in the back of the venue as every other event in the world has been. And practically speaking, no direct entrance into the main stage area.

There are showers at the main entrance also as shown on this map. The rainbow bridge entrance is directly into the main stage area. I think this is much better as there should be less lines (certainly less people) and people don't have to walk all of the way around to get to an entrance.

I've wondered about this before--where do they put the artist "back stage" area--is there room literally back stage? Even for the band buses? There's a lot of coming and going for that, and thus driving through walking areas.

Last year, we were forced to empty before we could enter and then had to go to the water station inside the show field and wait in a huge line to fill them up again. I know why they have the policy but it should follow that there would be more water stations.

It makes no sense that they wouldn't have water stations near every entrance or at least have on on each side of the field. Water is critical in August heat in Virginia.

This is Dave Frey's office which is across the road from the main stage. The Artist village is in the field next to his office on the other side of this parking lot.

Thank you, Snosey! I do have a husband, son and son's girlfriend who'll be there with me and can get water for me but I know there some other ADA folks who are going to be solo. Even if you're not ADA, that's quit a trek to get to water from the main and VIP entrances.
