New 2017 Map

that was my operating knowledge until the initial post. given the newness of the poster (no offense), opinions on whether this map is accurate to date?

previous years? or on the map for 2017 that was previously released (shared here)?

On the new map it is the green area above GA Glamping.

Thanks Slapple. I also need to correct another statement I made, the car camping is not especially low ground. I was relying on memory and I think I had it confused. You can see it real clear on the video that Sneake took. Dave says that this lot holds 3500 cars ("2 people per car for 7000 people") in the video around 5:25. Geez, that doesn't seem like a lot. Given that they expanded tent camping, maybe they just had more tent and RV this year?

Interesting. The map I have shows 1,885 car camping spots in that area. Not sure where the 3500 comes from...no way they doubled the number of spots in that field.

No, i think you are right about the oak ridge side. In the video he is pointing due west of the garcia forest towards Green Field car camping. You can see he leaves from where the two houses are and takes a left, encircling the Green Field car camping. The Green Field is the 3500 car lot. Given it's relative size on the map you shared, oak ridge car camping looks like 1885. I am assuming they didn't feel like they needed the oak ridge lot.

Is there a Day Camping area? You could get a Tent Only or a Car Camping pass and set up camp in the appropriate area. That doesn't get you into the music. A day pass wristband does that. And they are checking wristbands as you go in. You can't get into Sat show with a Fri wristband. But you can still be in the campgrounds.

Well look at that there is s single day Camping area on the new map. I don't think they have had that in the past

on the video Dave says all "handicapped" will be in the same area. camping and RV.
