I believe we are past the half way point in the countdown so I would like to share my 2017 Lockn' favorite non-music experience with you.
After returning from the late night Terrapin Porch set; Sneake, Lobster, and I settled down to enjoying for a few more libations at Sneake camp. In my three years on the farm, insects have never been an issue until this black hairy double winged ping pong ball sized bug appeared out of nowhere and started dive bombing our heads. I won't lie or name names but some of the fellas were screeching like frightened children. Cool headed Sneake stopped screaming and grabbed his cheap Chinese Tactical flashlight, turned on his Combat Photonic Strobe, and blasted the beast.
I'm a reformed flashaholic so I always snicker at the concept of the disabling Photonic Strobe but that bug lost flight control and crash landed onto Sneake's table. After a few "Holy Shit"s escaped our lips the bug regained it's footing and before it could take flight again Sneake blasted it. Thank goodness it was only able to take a few wobbly steps until it fell off the table and plunged head first into the mulch.
I truly hope Frey and company don't read this because if they do: no hammers, no knives, no flags, and maybe no multi-mode lighting devices.

P.S. Alumni camping 2017 will never be matched as a dollar for dollar camping experience.

The wee hours of the morning and we're all just trying to sip some beers and calm down from a day of amazing music and family. This fuckin asshole of an uninvited guest wreaked havoc and dive bombed our faces relentlessly. The only defense we had was my handy dandy strobe flashlight! This ferocious beast went from Red Baron to drooling idiot in no time.
