Tent camping has moved but forest camping is in the same place.

It does look like they are expanding the show field back to the track. That would include the VIP space from last year. if they pushed that beer garden off the top of the hill to back near the track, that would definitely expand the viewable area. It will also make the relix stage speakers even more important to get in phase or turn off. I am not mucking around this year, I will sneak or bribe my way to the top of the oak ridge hill where the breeze and quiet is.

wasn't all car camping in "Green Field" camping last year? This map makes it look like they're expecting closer to pre-2017 attendance which is good for the fest. Remains to be seen how they'll accommodate such a crowd on the smaller show field, but by the time the show starts none of that matters anyway .

No radical changes but I expect it to be roomier to accommodate their wish-list 30,000.

This was the plan for this year from the beginning. I would expect pushing back VIP and losing/moving the beer garden, although that was a semi-private access area, too, which they've had at some prior Lockn's.

Last year there was some forest camping adjoining Garcia's and to the "left" on this map and "above" the road where it says Lockn Lane.

They put what appeared to be overflow car and tent camping where it says "Oak Ridge" as it was fairly sparse. I don't recall any RV's in there.

It's a long hike from the parking lot to Garcia's (same as last year) and right long from either to the stage entrance. High Field is especially isolated.

It's too bad you have to cross through the showfield to get from some of the areas to others, which means you can't take food and drinks from your site to your friend's.

I was just by there this weekend; wish I had this then!

Hoping they are putting the Wed early arrivals up in High Field again, could not have loved our spot any more last year.

I feel certain that they will since power is included in all RV passes now but it will likely be provided by generators rather than the permanent power in the other RV areas. 

It looks like the Lumni space is still there unallocated. Hopefully they will offer it again this year. It was definitely prime camping.

That's how I remembered it, too.

They have typically loaded from back to front which would be Green Field first but only Lockn knows for sure and that is subject to change right up until game time. I'm sure that wherever you are parked will be Just. Exactly. Perfect.

that has been the history, but as the others said, we'll see. I will be bribing or sneaking my way to oak ridge regardless.
