^^Exactly^^ they're more interested in entertainment then actually reporting the weather.(Talking about The Weather Channel)

I prefer intellicast--to the point, no drama, requires some self-interpretation (for example, wind direction tells you more about the conditions than any other factor, at least on the coast).

All of them get the same info from the same place. Then it's a matter of how they interpret it, and then, for some, over-dramatize to sell ads.

Try this. And not that it matters yet, check out the "hourly" charts feature and the detail there.

I’ve looked at NOAA, weather, accuweather, and they are all over the place. Everyone pack for the worst. No one knows what is going to happen 7 days out. The more we pack, the better I expect.

Man thanks for showing me intellicast. I used to use weather underground and I liked their forecasts, but they completely screwed up their interface so that its annoying to use.

Looks like intellicast is using weather undergrounds forecasting, but putting it back into a usable format.

As A roofer can 100 percent say that in August in Virginia, trust no weather forecast that more than 30 minuets ahead. On a side note alive been trying to recover this account for like a year, figured it out just in time.

The rain today through Tuesday will not be the broad steady wash-out rain, but with the NE wind it will stay damp and overcast. Tuesday might bring in some strong events, especially as the wind clocks around from E to S.

Wed we have SW which is great then shifting to NW which is the best--clear and cool, and will dry things out.

The rest of the week is simply perfect.

I'm just hoping the showers keep to a minimum from today til Thurs. A buddy of mine is working for the tent company helping put up event tents and glamping tents starting Monday. Pretty good pay and he gets a free wristband as long as during the main festival he's on call in case of a tent emergency. Would suck to have to that kinda work in downpours..
