Ah, you're right. I'd assume we'll always have Keller doing gospel or something or another (though honestly I'd prefer grateful grass)^^^this is funny

I agree, would definitely rather have the Grateful Grass set. Everybody raves about how great the gospel Sunday church set is but I think it's played out, same set for six years now. i skipped it this year for that reason...Ah, you're right. I'd assume we'll always have Keller doing gospel or something or another (though honestly I'd prefer grateful grass)

Looks like Lockn 5 all over again!
I haven't gone to Floyd but is this line-up a bit higher caliber than usual, and more toward the jam and away from traditional bluegrass/Americana?
I'm glad to see Phil's family trip to Virginia will be in July, not August.

This was my first time seeing the Grateful Gospel show, and by the screw-up at the gates and the move to a bigger stage, it's clearly very popular.
Much as I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was neither "gospel" nor "church," but a nice even set of mellow, positive Americana. A nice start for a fourth day and a Sunday. That could easily be repeated, and should be, whether under a different label or not.

I've got my lockn ticket for next year but I'm thinking on hitting up a few festivals this summer. This one is looking pretty good to me. But where would I fly into? Richmond again?

This is a very cool lineup. I'm starting to work on attending this. Looking into the volunteer or staff experience, if they will have me. Aim to work very hard for music, and I have some solid worker values to offer! I would love to be in on this Floyd event.

Floydfest is great! It's the very first festival I went to and I was instantly hooked. They cap it out around 14,000 so it's never packed like Lockn. Camping there is challenging--it's right off the Blue Ridge Parkway so REALLY hilly. Warm during the day but nice and cool at night. You oughta come!

I found their facebook page has a positive vibe, so I check that once in a while for any news or reflections. I will look into the reddit suggestion. Plus, the thread here is helpful. 2019 is my first FF.Got my 5 day and Delta lot RV powered tixs!
