New 2019 festival map!

The way I see it--and cartoon maps are not to scale--they have to put the community camping close to the entrance b/c cars come to that area throughout the event.

I doubt it will take up much room; there is space for 15-18 car camps per row and they only need 32.

then tent only's parking is off to the side, so there are enough 10x10 tent sites to handle the max originally planned for, to about half of the space designated on this map. If they've sold fewer, it will be less space.

There's some dips that run across that area, though, to work around.

I was hoping with the rumored smaller crowd we'd be able to spread out more within our areas but I'm sure there will be plenty of room. At L2, in VIP on the hill, I arrived Friday and got a space with no one next to me in either direction for 3 spaces or so. The next eyar they were oversold and had people in the "road" next to me.

What's confusing me is that "Community Camping" is in a totally different location from one map to the next, as is "Poppa Bear" camping.

Wow, I had not really paid attention to the maps.  But that seems to indicate that they have only sold about half the advance tickets they had anticipated just a few months ago.  They cut out almost what, 30% of the camping area.

I think it's going to be an intimate Lockn' this year.  Good for us, bad for the festival.

As the song says, "If you get confused, disregard the old map" or something like that. They should not have had them both up at the same time. Maybe the old ones can be deleted from this thread.
