The Blue Ridge Rock Festival which was supposed to take place at DeVault vineyards (home of the Be Kind Festival) has been moved to Infinity Downs Farm.

3rd Annual BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL Moves To
BLUE RIDGE BOWL At INFINITY DOWNS, SEPTEMBER 7th & 8th
August 31, 2019 (Arrington, Virginia)
The 3rd Annual BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL featuring GODSMACK, THE OFFSPRING, A DAY TO REMEMBER, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, DMX and forty more artists has been moved to BLUE RIDGE BOWL At INFINITY DOWNS in Nelson County, VA. Recently, Lynchburg based promoter Jonathan Slye of Lynchburg Concerts brought on Dave Frey and the rest of his City Auditorium team. Due to robust sales the Festival has been moved to the larger venue, which Frey co-owns with Lockn’ partner Peter Shapiro. “DeVault Vineyards is an excellent venue and we spent a lot of money preparing it, but with this size crowd Infinity Downs will greatly enhance the experience for the audience” says Dave Frey.
“I am truly humbled by the passionate support our fans continue to generate”; says Jonathan Slye. “We are a rare breed. We are one of only a couple truly independently organized rock festivals in the Country, but the principles this Festival was founded on continues to resonate with fans. From our mission to our pricing, we deviate from the corporate norms in every way. There is more work than imaginable to make an event like this a possibility in such a small market, but we have a committed team and a special community. I understand that there will be some initial pauses when fans read this, but I believe they will truly be amazed with what we are now able to facilitate for them not only next weekend, but for years to come.”
With this venue change, we are excited to make the following announcements, with even more to come...
- One Case of Beer is now Permitted at all Campsites.
- HOTEL PACKAGES: All Lynchburg hotels are still the closest to the new Festival site. Not to fear, we are now offering COMPLIMENTARY Shuttles all day long from each of our hotels to the Festival to allow you to kick back and enjoy the trip. For those of you at other hotels, we WILL allow for you to utilize these Shuttles as well by meeting at one of our Partner Hotels. Priority does go to our Hotel Package ticketholders though, in the case there is not room on a given bus for whatever reason. For those of you at the Appomattox Inn & Suites, we recognize this is a longer commute and are preparing specialty accommodations for you. You will be contacted today regarding this.
- ALL Camping Packages are no longer sold out. There are now plenty of campsites available for every type, including the newly added economical Primitive Camping option.
- PARKING: Rather than being shuttled to and from the Festival grounds, VIP and General Parking are both located directly surrounding the Festival Arena.
- GOING LATE: Infinity’s curfew is hours later than previous, enabling us to deliver late night surprises and perhaps some extended sets for you.
- DEVAULT: We love our family at DeVault and that will not be lost in the move. DeVault Vineyards will still be on-site as your exclusive wine provider!
- WATER: We are now offering FOUR complimentary refill stations in the Festival Arena to ensure everyone is properly hydrated and cared for.
- EXCLUSIVE: We are excited to unveil the one and only HAMAGGEDON to a Rock Festival ground for the first time ever. This massive beast delivers the best pig roast in the U.S., all while breathing massive fire out of all ends. Video to come…
