Several years ago, we had our big annual program meeting at the Ohio Dept of Agriculture. We were on a tour of the building with staff who was describing some of the other work they do when he mentioned a program on the OH/PA order to capture and test for rabid Pennsylvania raccoons. Several of us agreed that Rabid Pennsylvania Raccoons would be an excellent band name. 
I don't think they make really good pets, but it's all in the trainer I guess.That was my first time seeing pet raccoons. The raccoons would climb all over the guy and then get down a go for stroll. Something you definitely won’t see at Lockn’! 
I have a co-worker that is terrified of rodents and raccoons in general.
If she saw that I would have had to lead her away and medicate her, poor thing. She actually moved because there were raccoons that would feed at the trash dumpsters.

That was my first time seeing pet raccoons. The raccoons would climb all over the guy and then get down and go for stroll. Something you definitely won’t see at Lockn’! Are those raccoons on a leash or am I in need of an eye appointment?
My cries of animal cruelty fell on deaf ears. I did speak to the gentleman. He said he had to rescue them. He had no answer what was the plan 6 months in the future. No shame. I don't know what's 6 hours in the future.

I had 85 pet raccoons and was told there has never been a confirmed case of rabies in a raccoon in North America. I have pictures with shitloads of them 😁 basically a living fur deck. Sounds like people made an effort and were aware, at least. My daughter, at a weekend classic car show nearby, said about 5% mask compliance the whole weekend.OMFG
And I know you're wondering: most of us grownups did a pretty good job, but drunks and spunions kept leaning in and it was too hot to wear a mask for more than the riskiest of behaviors. By Saturday night, almost everyone got a little sloppy. Including myself. We'll see how the next 14 days go.

There wasn't as much masking as there probably 'should' have been, a woman even made fun of me for it while I was walking towards the bathroom. Overall though I never really felt unsafe. There was plenty of space to keep your distance and for better or worse there wasn't too much cross campsite mingling. For some reason I'm usually a magnet for crazy wooks that want to socialize at shows, didn't happen this time. Some of the pics you may see make it look more crowded than it was, even close to the stage there was plenty of room. Though I won't lie when I got the "a message from Grateful Getdown" email yesterday I thought "Aww shit, here it comes they're going to tell us an attendee tested positive". I do have a telehealth appt tonight and will probably end up getting tested though. Both because of this and because my company felt it was a good idea to have me meet in person with someone that flew in from Texas over the weekend.

My test on whether I go to a place is whether I can control my own distance from others, which includes avoiding those who don't. I'd go to an event like that or Lockn' but not likely a show in a venue.

I had to climb on a swing set to avoid ladies who wouldn't social distance. Now I'm at home, what the fuck was I thinking. My test on whether I go to a place is whether I can control my own distance from others, which includes avoiding those who don't. I'd go to an event like that or Lockn' but not likely a show in a venue.

Those lovely women were Lobster's neighbors and I wish I had met them earlier in the weekend. I actually danced hard to Twiddle(what! When I returned my rental car at 8:00AM Monday the office was closed. A woman who was waiting to return her car also said some employees were having a meeting behind a fence(?). At 8:15am the chipper young ahole who checked me in walked around the fence and told us to drop the keys on the ground, they would process our returns later, and that the roommate of an employee tested positive so the branch was closed. After calling around yesterday I was told no positive tests results or symptoms for employees but no tests were given(?). I'll leave the story there.

Crippled, I think, had some problems with monitors up front. The harmonies get better later. The first Cabinet set more exploratory and not as tight. Second night is kinda the other way around.
