Though we will be camping w/ southeasters who will bring a kitchen, we don't plan on cooking much.
Can anyone share what varieties of food the vendors offered last year?
Was there an espresso booth to help me stay up til dawn?

there's always one cheap, awesome food at every festival, and they were the one at lockn. was like $4 for a pot pie and they had probably 5 different kinds. they were in the "local" tent right between the food and goods vendors, where all the local breweries were setup. i really hope they come back this year. they were a lifesaver

Last year, there were also 18 local restaurants that provided food and beverages at the festival.
Three vendors specifically were from Nelson County: The Blue Toad Pub, from Afton; Barefoot Bucha, from Nellysford; and The Rock Barn, from Arrington. If all goes according to plan, this year the festival will host a Brewers Village that will give 16 to 18 participants the chance to have more slow-paced engagement with consumers. The festival is looking to have local craft brews account for a high percentage of beer options. The concert field is surrounded on all sides by many kinds of festival merchandise, craft beer vendors and wine and cider distilleries and locally sourced food vendors. One huge tent, directly to the back of the concert field, housed local vendors such as The Rockbarn Butchery, The Blue Toad and Blue Ridge Kettle Korn (yum!). Starr Hill Brewery and Wild Wolf Brewing Company were two outstanding local breweries that offered delicious beverages. Out round about the concert field you could choose from Asian Sensation, Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint or Outback Kate’s (delicious Three-Cheese Mac & Cheese)

Their food is amazing and they're super awesome folk to boot. Check them out: www.facebook.com/Thaithisfoodtruck
and when you get to Lockn' stop by and give them a try, I promise you won't be disappointed! Also, Jang has been sure to tone down the spice for the American palates, so no need to be concerned over a fiery visit to the port-a-john later.

In the event that that does happen, a and d ointment should fix you right up in no time. It's also helpful for adult diaper rash if you forget to apply the goldbond.

All right, since so many have been so brutally honest about their ostomies, I'll come clean about something: I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. I always have a raw butthole. 8-(

normally i would be right on board with this. however, at festivals i tend to try to tone it down a little bit. a raw butthole can really be a downer on a festival weekend, lol
Glad to have opened the door for everyone to share their GI "situations"!
